Step 1: Determine Your Child's Needs

Take a look at the "What is OT" page of our website and identify your concerns and child's needs.

Step 2: Obtain a Referral from your doctor

Talk to your doctor about your concerns. Ask for a referral for occupational therapy evaluation and treatment for Playhaus Pediatric Therapy.

Referrals may be faxed by your provider to (210) 571-1704 or brought in as a hard copy.

Call us for a phone screening if you need more specific guidance.

Step 3: Verifying Insurance Benefits

*We are still in the process of contracting with various insurance plans.

Our staff will gather your insurance information and determine benefits. If your insurance plan is not listed, we can discuss other options such as private pay, superbills or HSA.

Step 4: Intake Forms

We will send an email with your child's intake forms. Fill this out before your appointment to maximize the therapist's time with you and your child.

Step 5: Scheduling Your Child's Initial Evaluation

Once we have received the referral from your pediatrician, your insurance has been verified, it is time to schedule your child's initial evaluation!
