We understand how important it is to provide an engaging and safe environment for our clients to explore, learn and grow. We have constructed our clinic from scratch with equipment we know to be effective in treatment. It is designed to optimize your child's sensory integration, bilateral coordination, visual-motor, gross motor, fine motor, and emotional regulation skills for lasting brain changes.
Christine is co-owner/co-founder of Playhaus Pediatric Therapy and a practicing pediatric clinician. She helped form this clinic to build an environment that is engaging and challenging for brain growth that improve a child's confidence in every aspect of their life.
She grew up in Wellington, Ohio and received her bachelor's degree in health sciences and her master's degree in occupational therapy from the University of Findlay in Findlay, Ohio. She has lived and practiced OT in Arizona, Florida and Texas.
Christine has been practicing since 2012 with experience in hospitals, trauma centers, outpatient clinics and home health settings. She is dedicated to staying current with evidenced-based practice, has experience as a Level 1 & 2 clinical instructor for occupational therapy students and has advanced training in:
Christine and her husband, Wyatt, live in New Braunfels with their two children, Leah and Maverick. She enjoys fitness, reading books and plenty of outdoor time with her family. Her career goal is to develop more accessible therapy services for clients while creating an engaging workplace with a growth mindset for therapists.
Kayley is co-owner/co-founder of Playhaus Pediatric Therapy and a practicing pediatric clinician. She grew up Houston, Texas, received her bachelor's degree in community health from Texas A&M University (Whoop!) in College Station, Texas, and completed her master's degree in occupational therapy from the University of St. Augustine in Austin, Texas. Kayley is passionate about constructing this clinic to improve access to occupational therapy treatment in an underserved area.
Kayley’s passion for pediatric occupational therapy developed when she volunteered her time at a therapeutic riding facility for 5 years, teaching children of all abilities how to ride horses while incorporating therapeutic strategies (hippotherapy).
Kayley has been a practicing pediatric occupational therapist since 2020 with experience in hospitals, hand clinics, skilled nursing facilities and home health settings. She is passionate about staying current with evidenced-based practice and has advanced training in:
Kayley and her husband, Jeff, live in New Braunfels with their son James. She enjoys reading books, being creative and crafting, and outdoor time with her family including her dog Beau. She helped form this clinic in hopes to build an environment that is engaging and challenging to improve your child’s independence within their natural environments and provide accessible occupational therapy services to families and children.
